Everything you need to know about OSRS RAIDS 3 (TOMBS OF AMASCUT)
The Tombs of Amascut OSRS raids 3 release dungeon was officially revealed by Jagex on August 3rd of 2021.
What is the release date of Raids 3: Tombs of Amascut, will it be available in the OSR and what exactly will it contain? Today we’re sharing what we know.
I want to know when Raids 3 Tombs of Amascut will be released for the OSR?
Early 2022 is the planned release date for Raids 3 Tombs of Amascut.
This release date should be met by the Old School team.
In Raids 3: Tombs of Amascut, players will discover more secrets than ever before.
OSRS’s third raid dungeon is the Tombs of Amascut. Following Theatre of Blood (Raids 2) and Chambers of Xerics (Raids 1), is the second Raid to be released.

There will be two levels in The Tombs of Amascut and a maximum of 8 players can play.
For access to the lower level, you must defeat four different bosses on the upper level.
Two bosses (the Twin Bosses) are located on the lower level and must be defeated in order to remove Amascut and claim your rewards.
As opposed to COX and TOB, Raids 3: Tombs of Amascut provides you with the ability to select the difficulty depending on invocations.
Invocations will allow groups of players to BUFF or DEBUFF the raid in certain ways.
The bosses’ damage and health can be changed, for instance.
Nerfing your own teammates will be possible as well, for example, by disabling a certain spellbook.
Raids are more rewarding the more difficult you make them.
Note: Hardcore Ironman accounts will NOT be safe from death in Tombs of Amascut.
Workings of Tombs of Amascut
It consists of two levels: an upper level and a lower level.
In the upper level, you will begin the raid.
Upper level
Obtaining access to the lower level requires completing four challenges in the upper level.
There will be a theme associated with each challenge (also known as a path).
You can choose the order in which you want to complete your challenges.
There will be boss fights in each path.
Once each path has been completed, the raid will change, so choose carefully!
The lower level
In order to complete the raid, you must defeat two bosses called the Twin Bosses once you have reached the lower level.
You will be attacked simultaneously by both bosses.
You’ll receive your rewards once you defeat the Twin Boss.
The Tombs Of Amascut Raids 3: Rewards
In general, the rewards in Tombs of Amascut should be exciting just like its predecessors.
Three upcoming weapons rewards were revealed by J-Mods in the keynote:
- An idealized magic wand with variable speed
- an armor set with a low-life effect
- A mage off-hand (shield) with the best power
Introducing the Tumeken’s Heka Magic Wand.
Tumeken’s heka will be the name of the new magic wand.
OSRS will introduce its very first skill-based weapon, which will be OSRS’s very first variable attack speed weapon.
The weapon will work the following way:
- Attack speed will be 2 for the first three attacks.
- The fourth attack, however, will have a faster speed of four while having more power.
- This is equal to 50% of the player’s magic strength bonus.
- A slow attack scales by 150% of the player’s magic strength bonus.
- The spells are built into the game.
This project requires:
- Magic Number 84
- contains three Chaos Runes
- plus one Soul Rune
Ranged Armour with Low Life Effects: Masori Armour Set
The new ranged armour reward will be called the Masori Armour set and will consist out of three pieces:
- MaskoroChestplate
- With Maori Chainskirt
- Amulet of the Maoris.
Whenever the wearer is below 40% hitpoints, the low life effects increase the ranged accuracy and strength of that piece. Similar to the effect of D’harok’s armor.
Passively draining the wearer’s HP below 40% is the job of the amulet.
Prerequisites:
- Ranged 80
- Defense 20
The Ward of Elidinis is the best mage shield in its slot
Off-hand magic is the best in a broken state, so the best will be rewarded. An Arcane sigil and soul runes are needed to repair the shield.
When you have repaired the off-hand, it will be the most powerful one in Osrs.
In addition, it will also have the magic strength bonus.
Arcane sigils, 10,000 soul runes, 90 smithing, and prayer are needed to repair the shield. Shields can be repaired by Abbot Langley in the Edgeville Monastery for 20M gp if the player cannot do it themselves.
The requirements are:
- 80 magic power
- plus 80 defense
- plus 80 prayers
- to repair Arcane Sigils
- that are imprinted with 10,000 soul runes
- using 90 smithing
- tools and 90 prayers (to repair)
Below Cursed Sands Quest
Raid dungeons would not be Raid dungeons without quest requirements!
Tombs of Amasuct can only be accessed after completing Beneath Cursed Sands.
