The United States has so much to offer people from across the globe. Even those who live in the massive country will likely miss out on some of the best places the country has to offer.
One of those options is to visit the best online casino in person with a trip to fabulous Las Vegas. It’s one of the most popular cities to visit. The bright lights on the strip from the casinos is a wonderful view for a nighttime stroll. It also has a little bit of something for every gamer. There are plenty of poker, blackjack, slots, and other options.
Beyond that, there are shows hosted at casinos, sporting events inside the big buildings and plenty more. There is plenty to do outside the city, including professional sporting events with the pro football team, the Las Vegas Raiders, minor league baseball team, Las Vegas 51s, pro hockey team, Vegas Golden Knights, and pro basketball team, the Las Vegas Aces. Elsewhere there are a number of college sporting events, the NBA Summer League and pretty soon the Super Bowl and NCAA basketball Final Four.
This is just one example of American cities worth visiting. Here are a few others worth checking out.
Right in the heart of Florida is Orlando, a great location for families to visit. Kids grow up watching Disney Channel, which no longer airs the classic cartoons that built up Walt Disney World, which is where families venture to at least once. There are many rides for all ages, but the allure of Disney is the theme parks. Animal Kingdom is great for learning about nature, while Epcot offers insight into different cultures.
But there is truly something for everyone.
New York City, New York
One of the prime cities to visit has so much to do that not even a week will give everyone enough time. There is plenty to see, but upper Manhattan is the place to start. Catching a show on Broadway at night, sliding over to the hole-in-the-wall John’s Pizzeria, which features a beautiful mural and brick oven pizza, and then catching the lit up Times Square is great. Then, a trip to Central Park during the day, Wall Street, and Ground Zero before catching the Staten Island Ferry for a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty is a great week.
But there is plenty more in the Bronx and Brooklyn. For sports fans, there are two professional baseball, basketball, hockey, and football teams depending on the season of choice in New York.
Los Angeles, California
One of the best places to visit is Southern California. The nearby beaches are always popular, there is Hollywood featuring the famous stars, plenty of different shows – whether those seen on television, magic acts or concerts – and a variety of different sporting events. Los Angeles also has two professional football, baseball, hockey and basketball teams.
Of course, part of that is in nearby Anaheim. That is also where Disneyland and California Adventures Dream Park are. That’s a smaller – and the original – version of Walt Disney’s vision for an amusement park. It still has rides, shows, and great learning opportunities.
Pack warm clothes if planning to go in the wintertime. Chicago is home to the Navy Pier, which features carnival rides, a conference center that sometimes hosts sporting events, plenty to do on the water in the summer, including many different boat tours. Elsewhere there are great bars, shows, from musical concerts to theatrical and musical performances to comedy.
The sports scene is unrivaled. There is the history of the Chicago Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks. There is a rabid fanbase for the Chicago Bears and plenty of other teams.
This location is for the history buffs out there. There are plenty of great museums and monuments honoring different groups of people who have lived in the United States. There are so many options for cultural food, too. To truly learn about American history is to visit the nation’s capital and take in the monuments. Also, be sure to check out nearby Arlington National Cemetery, which is home to the tomb of the unknown soldier.
There are plenty more, but here is a start.
